Architekt - Kreślarz: Architectural Drafter - bespoke workshop drawings (urgent!)
Opis: I am looking for an architect to work as a drafter, drafting detailed technical documentation ranging from custom Neo-Baroque gates for residences on US west coast, trough products sheets for Sweden minimalist blinds company to a CNC production sets for custom hinges.
The work is conducted fully in English, with all the drawings being labeled and annotated in English, most of the drawings are made in imperial units (inches-feet), all communication, including internal email is supposed to be in English as well as all notes and guidance received from clients or subcontractors. Due to above, the proper candidate has to be proficient in English, both in writing and in oral communication, and that is the reason why this ad is in English.
The work consists mostly of drafting very detailed drawings set for production, to be used by craftsman's at the final stage of design, prior to production. The proper candidate has to present strong attention to detail, have good understanding of technical issues and motivation to work with workshop drawings.

to apply, the candidate should have following skills :
- AutoCAD - advance level, fluent in 2D drawings
- SketchUp - basic 3D for details and isometric views
- advanced in English and broad technical vocabulary
- attention to details, technical background, basic mechanical background
- strong understanding of joints, welds, mechanical connections, structural analysis
- ability to learn drawings standards, inches-feet units and its logic while drawing
- motivation to organize work and conduct correspondence with clients if needed
- willingness to work with workshop drawings
the candidate should have its own laptop computer with proper CAD software

- training period and ongoing supervision
- desk space in co-working space Wytwórnia, Zabłocie
- flexible hours, but with at least 11-3pm office time required, around 30H+ per week
- work billed by hours
- friendly and non-formal work environment
- ability to gain experience with USA/Sweden/Australia clients, drawing standards and work culture
- for proper candidate - long term cooperation - at least 6 months, possibly much longer
wage: base rate starting at $8-10/work hour minus applicable taxation and insurance
